No Tocar is a braille-based paradox created by Merhi in the late 90s and exhibited for the first time in 2000. It is made out of a sheet of metal (originally aluminum and then silver) which has a braille inscription that reads "DO NOT TOUCH"
The work unfolded a variety of possibilities in terms of distribution, leading the artist to adapt the concept into t-shirts. "Do not touch" was distributed by Seek-Art and the New Museum, located in New York.
