The Poetic Machine is a custom software that emulates a slot machine and randomly generates millions of poems when people play with it. Trough this work Merhi explored a post-surrealist method of creative writing that he named mechanical automatism. It relates to the ability that machines have to autonomously produce poetry using algorythms . The Poetic Machine also offers the possibility of printing the obtained poems, enabling users to be instant collectors.
