Stereogrammar displays an encrypted poem written in Spanish. The poem/image was created with a computer algorithm based on the principle of stereoscopic vision. A Stereogram is a computer-generated three-dimensional image encoded in a two-dimensional pattern. When the two perspectives are processed by the brain, it appears like a 3D image. During the 90s, stereograms (or autoestereogramas) were popularized in illustrative books entitled "Magic Eye".
By making sense of the encoded image a poem emerges from the two-dimensional surface, giving the impression that the text is floating in the air. Thus, the poem can be read and interpreted, producing a new image in the viewer’s imagination.
